Teacher Workshop

The Delta Blues Museum and the University of Mississippi's Center for the Study of Southern Culture will host a teacher workshop on the Mississippi Blues Trail on July 28 to 30, 2015
. The 3-day workshop will be held at the Museum and is open to teachers of all subjects and all grade levels. Upon completion of the workshop, teachers will receive 1.6 CEU credits.

B.B. King - Funeral & Memorial Services

Memorial services for B.B. King were held in Las Vegas on May 23rd, after which he will be flown to Memphis for a tribute procession on Wednesday, May 27th. Funeral arrangements are set for Friday, May 29th in Indianola.

The 36th Annual Blues Music Awards were held Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the Cook Convention Center in Memphis, TN. Charlie Musselwhite was nominated for an award as a Harmonica Instrumentalist, and Bobby Rush was nominated for three awards.
