Tickets to the Delta Blues Museum

RE-OPENING OF THE MUSEUM ON MONDAY, JULY 27, 2020.

Visiting the Museum:

We are happy to announce the re-opening of the Delta Blues Museum. The Museum has implemented a number of protocols to follow with regard to begin safely welcoming back the public into our gallery and gift shop. Our entire facility has been professionaly cleaned and disinfected, and our staff is diligently adhering to stricter cleaning protocols as well as social distancing practices.

With our re-opening comes a new set of mandatory guidelines for all museum staff and guests:

  • Masks are required at all times during your visit to the museum. If you do not have a mask, the museum will have masks available for a nominal fee.
  • Temperatures will be taken and recorded at the door and the museum will be unable to allow entry if you or someone in your party has a temperature of 100.4 degrees or above.
  • For your and our staff's safety, the museum will be maintained at a reduced capacity of no more than 20 people at one time.
  • Advance ticketing and reservations are highly recommended to ensure your ability to visit the museum.
  • Museum hours will be limited, operating from 10am to 4pm Monday through Saturday. No admissions will be allowed into the gallery after 3pm.
  • Masks and social distancing (following marked areas), plus cleaning and disinfecting protocols will be in place.
  • The gift shop will be open, however, a limited number of patrons will be allowed in the gift shop at any given time.
  • Sanitizers, tissues and the like will be available throughout the museum.

Museum hours, open status, health and safety protocols are subject to change accordingly to keep current with COVID-19 rules and regulations.

  • General (age 13+) $10.00
  • Youth (ages 6-12) $8.00
  • Children (under 6) Free
  • Blues Society Members $5.00

Group Tours are not being offered at this time.

  • Monday - Saturday 10 AM - 3 PM, with final admissions no later than 3pm

Health and Safety at the Museum:

To stay in line with CDC and Mississippi State Health Department guidelines, the museum has implemented the following protocols for visitor and employee safety.

  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures, with regular cleaning of frequently touched areas.
  • Contactless ticketing, reservations and purchases.
  • Staff will wear masks and practice social distancing within the museum.
  • Temperature checks and COVID-19 screening of employees each day prior to the start of their shift. Employees exhibiting symptoms will be sent home. Employees to remain home if feeling sick or with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher. Employees will not return to work until fever free for 72 hours.
  • Frequent hand washing and sanitizing is required of museum staff.
