BLUES LEGEND CEDELL DAVIS TO PERFORM
AT DELTA BLUES MUSEUM
CLARKSDALE, MISSISSIPPI
Mississippi's Oldest Music Museum to Host Artist and Special Guests in Exclusive Event
WHAT: The Delta Blues Museum will
host CeDell Davis - backed by guest artists Barrett Martin
(Screaming Trees, R.E.M.) Delta Blues Museum Ambassador
Jimbo Mathus, and Zakk and Greg Binns - in a special appearance
in celebration of Davis' latest album release.
"Last
Man Standing" is Davis' first album in over a decade,
produced by Mathus and recorded in Water Valley, Mississippi.
A Q&A and CD signing will follow - the event is open to the public, and media are encouraged to attend.
Event sponsored by the Mississippi Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.

the Delta Blues Museum
Established in 1979 by the Carnegie Public Library
Board of Trustees and re-organized as a stand-alone museum
in 1999, the Delta Blues Museum is Mississippi's oldest
music museum. A 2013 recipient of the IMLS National Medal
for Museum and Library Services-the nation's highest honor
for museum and library service to the community-the Delta
Blues Museum is dedicated to creating a welcoming place
where visitors find meaning, value and perspective by exploring
the history and heritage of the unique American musical
art form, the Blues.
