Pinetop Perkins and Willie "Big Eyes" Smith Receive Grammy Award

Blues legend Pinetop Perkins and Willie "Big Eyes" Smith received a Best Traditional Blues Album award for their album "Joined at the Hip" at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards held in February 2011. Pinetop won a Grammy in the same category in 2007 and a Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005.
History making didn't stop with the Grammy he received in February, at 97 years of age, he also became the oldest person to ever win a Grammy Award. Pinetop has also just been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2011 Governor's Awards for Excellence in the Arts.
