Acceptance of National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award (NAHYP) in White House Ceremony

First Lady Michelle Obama presented the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award (NAHYP) to Delta Blues Museum and the Delta Blues Museum Band in a White House ceremony Monday. Accepting the award are Delta Blues Museum Executive Director Shelley Ritter and the DBM Band.

The NAHYP Award recognizes community based organizations that develop learning and life skills in young people by educating and engaging them through arts or humanities youth programs.

The 2014 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award Ceremony and band performance was streamed live.
