2023 - 36th Annual Festival
Since its creation in 1988, the Sunflower Festival has been entertaining blues fans for the past 30 years.
Throughout the years there have been numerous high profile headliners and entertainers such as Ike Turner, Dorothy Moore, Robert Plant and for this years 36th annual festival, James "Super Chikan" Johnson, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, and Anthony "Big A" Sherrod.
The Delta Blues Museum has partnered with the Sunflower Festival for many years with coordinating various performances, booths and special promotions.

Museum Awarded 2023 Mississippi Humanities Mini Grant
Delta Blues Museum is adding a special event to kick off its 2023 Sunflower Festival activities, thanks to a Mississippi Humanities Council (MHC) Mini-Grant just announced.
The grant will support a special panel discussion, "From Hand to Hand: Passing Down the Blues," featuring three graduates of the Delta Blues Museum Arts & Education Program - Jaxx Nassar, Anthony "Big A" Sherrod and Lee Williams. Read More
