The Delta Blues Museum is pleased to announce its sponsoring and hosting of the Deep Blues Festival 5K Run/Walk.
All proceeds raised will benefit the Delta Blues Museum.

DATE: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2019 (Rain or Shine)

DISTANCE: 5000 meter (3.1 miles) Foot Race or Walk

SCHEDULE: 7:00am to 7:50am - Race Day Registration / Packet Pick Up
8:00am - 5k Run/Walk Begins
9:00am - Course Closes / Clock Comes Down

LOCATION: Check In and Parking at Issaquena & North Edwards (at Wade Walton Blues Trail Marker), Clarksdale, MS

COURSE: Flat, POINT TO POINT, starting at the New Roxy and ending at Shack Up Inn; Hwy 49 South, Clarksdale. Return transport provided.

AMENITIES: T-Shirts guaranteed ONLY to those registering by October 12, 2019. We will not reorder t-shirts if we run out after October 12, 2019. Water table at halfway point; free post-race drinks and refreshments available.

FEES: $20 until October 18, 2019
$25 October 19, 2019 (Race Day)
Note: Online registration available through October 18, 2019 at 5:00pm CST.
All registrations on October 19, 2019 (the day of the event) will need to be completed between 7:00am and 7:50am at event location.

PAYMENT: Payment by check or money order MUST BE RECEIVED BY OCTOBER 18, 2019 with your Entry Form.

By registering and paying online you, the registrant, acknowledge and agree, in consideration of the acceptance of the entry and registration as participant in the Deep Blues 5k Run/Walk, to waive any and all claims which you and your heirs and assigns may now have or hereafter have against the Delta Blues Museum, the Deep Blues Festival, Shack Up Inn, each entities' members and all officials, volunteers of the Deep Blues Race which may directly or indirectly result from your participation in the 5k Run/Walk. You further warrant and represent that you are in proper physical condition and health to participate in the 5k Run/Walk and are not participating in the event against physicians' advice, nor are you taking medication which would impair your health, judgement, or ability to participate in the 5k Run/Walk. You also acknowledge and agree that skates, rollerblades, skateboards or similar items are prohibited in this event and you will abide by these restrictions. You further understand organizers reserve the right to cancel and/or postpone this event due to weather and/or other unforeseen circumstances. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY REASON.
