Delta Blues Museum hosted the world premiere photographic art exhibit, "Under the Roof of a Tin Top Shack". An exhibit of photographs taken by Pulitzer‐Prize winner David Turnley, staff photographer for Getty Images ‐ the world's largest supplier of media images.

David Turnley is one of the world's leading photojournalists. He has won the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the revolutions around the world in 1989 and has covered every major war since the Israeli invasion of Beirut in 1982.

Turnley is also an accomplished filmmaker. He lived with the Dalai Lama in northern India to do a documentary for CNN called "The Dalai Lama ‐ At Home and in Exile," for which he was nominated for an Emmy. His award‐winning feature‐length documentary "La Tropical," about a Cuban dance hall in Havana, recently opened in theatres in New York City. David Turnley is currently a staff photographer with the prestigious photo agency Getty Images.
