Celebrating Christone "Kingfish" Ingram | January 27, 2020

Photo: Clarksdale, Mississippi, native Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, 2020 Grammy nominee for Best Traditionalist Blues Album
Christone showed amazing potential as a young musician,
starting out on bass in the Delta Blues Museum student band and later moving on to guitar. It has been an honor and a privilege to watch him nurture his given talent and grow into such a fine young man who is now rightfully being recognized by
the rest of the music world.
Christone manifests the mission of Delta Blues Museum
and embodies the future of the Blues,
and we could not be more proud of his accomplishments.
- Museum Director Shelley Ritter
