DELTA BLUES MUSEUM PRESENTS

GEORGE WINSTON HARMONICA CONCERT AND WORKSHOP

George Winston spent his later formative years in Mississippi and Florida. During this time, his favorite music was instrumental rock and R & B, including Booker T & the MGs, Jimmy Smith, and Floyd Cramer. Since then, he has received acclaim for his many recordings on piano, guitar, and harmonica. His harmonica influences range from Appalachian old time country to Cajun and Celtic music.

Workshop
4:15 PM
Winston will offer a one-hour workshop at 4:15 pm, prior to the concert. Pre-registration is suggested. There is no fee. The first 15 registrants will receive a free Hohner Special 20 A harmonica. The session will be limited to the first 30 applicants. Attendees can bring any key or brand of harmonica to the workshop.

The concert and workshop are sponsored by the Winston Project, Inc., the Delta Blues Museum, and Hohner, Inc.
