This classic tee captures the King of Boogie Blues in action. Born in Coahoma County, Hooker migrated to Detroit in the 1940s where he created his signature musical style, blending Delta, talking, and hill country blues into an electric, driving-rhythm boogie. His best-known songs include "Boogie Chillen,” "Crawling King Snake,” "Burnin’ Hell,” Boom Boom," and "The Healer.” He was a double-Grammy winner in 1998 for Best Traditional Blues and Best Pop Collaboration (with Van Morrison).
