According to folklore, a Bluesman met the Devil at the Crossroads and sold his soul in exchange for his musical talent. This monument gives testimony to the legendary significance of the Crossroads and is located at the intersection of US routes 49 & 61, two of the most iconic Blues roads of the Mississippi Delta. It is located in Clarksdale, Mississippi, home of the Delta Blues Museum.
